The raids are taking place at 9 locations in Patna and Hajipur, 5 in Kolkata, 4 in Varanasi, and 1 in Delhi. The ED has also searched his government and private residences in Patna. This action is related to the Rs 85 crore fraud case involving the Vaishali Urban Development Cooperative Bank. Following an RBI report, three FIRs were filed in Hajipur concerning this case.
