Delhi Polls : All the major parties are offering numerous election promises for the assembly elections in Delhi. Congress, too, is making significant pledges to the people of Delhi. Following the 'Pyaari Didi Yojana', Congress has unveiled its second assurance. The party's second guarantee is the 'Jeevan Raksha Yojana', which promises every Delhi resident health insurance worth Rs 25 lakh.
Congress, which has been diminished to zero in the past two elections, pledged on Wednesday that if it returns to power in Delhi, it will introduce the "Jeevan Raksha Yojana" to offer free health insurance up to Rs 25 lakh.
This scheme will prove to be a game changer: Gehlot
Ashok Gehlot, the former Chief Minister of Rajasthan and a senior Congress leader, stated in Delhi that the party's proposed scheme will be a game changer. He mentioned, "The likelihood of Congress establishing a government in Delhi this time is rising. I believe this is also essential for the country."
Ex-CM Gehlot mentioned that the planned scheme demonstrates the party's dedication to addressing the healthcare requirements of Delhi's citizens. At the announcement, the Congress campaign slogan "Hogi Har Zaroori Puri, Congress Hai Zaroori" was prominently featured, underscoring the Congress party's "commitment" to providing essential services for all.

He also mentioned that the proposed scheme intends to offer extensive health coverage to families, encompassing medical costs for serious illnesses, hospitalization, and treatment.
Two days ago, on January 6 (Monday), Congress introduced the Pyari Didi scheme, pledging to offer financial assistance of Rs 2,500 per month to the women of Delhi if they win power. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivkumar revealed this initiative at the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee office. This marked Congress's first major election announcement for the Delhi elections.
