The BJP has already declared 29 candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections. The names for the other seats have been shortlisted during the BJP core group meeting.

Delhi Assembly Election 2025 : All political parties are busy formulating strategies by holding meetings for the Delhi Assembly elections. Meanwhile, a meeting of the Delhi BJP Core Committee took place at the residence of the Bharatiya Janata Party's National President, JP Nadda. This meeting focused on the remaining 41 Vidhan Sabha seats in Delhi.
According to sources, the survey report and the opinions of local MPs were discussed for all the seats. From the panel presented for each seat, one name has been shortlisted, which will be submitted in the upcoming Central Election Committee meeting. After discussions in the committee meeting, the BJP's second list could be released late tonight or tomorrow. Today, January 10, 2025, the BJP Central Election Committee will convene at 6:30 pm.
PM Modi will preside over the Central Election Committee meeting, attended by Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and BJP National Organization Minister BL Santosh. Following this meeting, the BJP may announce the second list of candidates at any time.
Delhi will hold elections in a single phase on February 5, 2025, with vote counting on February 8. The BJP's first list was unveiled on January 4, featuring four incumbent MLAs who received tickets. The party has nominated Parvesh Verma to contest against Arvind Kejriwal from the New Delhi constituency. Two women were included in the BJP's first list.
