Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah stated that Ajmer Sharif Dargah receives more visits from non-Muslims than Muslims.

Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah stated that it's impossible to separate religion from politics. Votes are often sought based on religious grounds, and this is the reality we must acknowledge. However, we hope the Prime Minister remains unbiased and sends a chaadar to Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Ajmer Sharif is visited by people of all religions, with more non-Muslims visiting than Muslims. There is an effort to discover a temple beneath every mosque, but fortunately, the Supreme Court has intervened to halt this. Any decision from the court will apply universally.
PM Modi sends the chaadar every year
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will present the chaadar to Union Minister Kiren Rijiju at 6 pm on January 2. This chaadar will be offered to Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti for the 813th Urs. Since becoming Prime Minister, Modi has sent the chaadar annually.
There were differences but there was no confrontation with the Raj Bhavan - CM
When questioned about the hybrid governance model in Jammu and Kashmir, CM Abdullah remarked, "Clearly, having dual centers of power is not advantageous for anyone. If such a system were effective for governance, it would be evident in other regions too." In response to another query, the Chief Minister stated, "There have been differences on certain matters, but there was no conflict with the Raj Bhavan."
'Go to every place where issues can be resolved'
He stated, "A single center of power leads to a more efficient system. In Union Territories, dual centers of power are inherent. While there are differences on some issues, they are not as significant as speculated. Such reports are purely imaginative." He mentioned that rules for the government's functioning will be drafted after thorough discussions and then forwarded to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. The Chief Minister remarked that he does not discourage people from visiting the Raj Bhavan. He added, "I encourage people to go wherever their issues can be addressed, be it the Raj Bhavan, local MLA, or an officer."
