Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra for the next 50 days. Out of the two Vande Bharat service pairs, only one pair (22439/40) has been canceled. Northern Railway cites the yard remodeling at Jammu Tawi yard as the reason for this cancellation.

The Vande Bharat train will not operate between New Delhi and Katra from today, Thursday, January 16 to March 6, 2025. This semi-high speed train service between the two cities is managed by Northern Railway and is a key transport option for those visiting Vaishno Devi.

Vande Bharat Train Schedule

The semi-high speed train runs every day of the week except Wednesday. It departs from New Delhi at 6 am and arrives in Katra at 2:05 pm. On the return trip, the train leaves Katra at 2:55 PM and reaches New Delhi at 11 PM.

During its route, the train halts at four stations: Ambala Cantonment, Ludhiana Junction, Pathankot Cantonment, and Jammu Tawi. Passengers can choose between AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car on the Vande Bharat Express.

For travel in the AC Chair Car between New Delhi and Katra, the fare is Rs 1665, while the Executive Chair Car ticket costs Rs 3055. This train was inaugurated by Home Minister Amit Shah.
