India's: Today, January 15, is also observed as Army Day. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated three Made in India warships to the nation. India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated three warships at the Indian Naval Dockyard today in honor of Army Day. The three warships are INS Surat, INS Nilgiri, and INS Vagsheer. These vessels will significantly bolster India's maritime strength. During his address, Prime Minister Modi remarked that today marks a significant day for the illustrious history of India's maritime heritage navy and the self-reliant India initiative. This initiative will persist in the future as well.
PM Modi mentioned that for the first time in the country, a destroyer, a frigate, and a submarine are being commissioned simultaneously. The most gratifying aspect is that all three warships are made in India, symbolizing the nation's self-reliance. He noted that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had provided new strength and vision to the Navy. Today, on his sacred land, we are making a significant stride toward fortifying the 21st-century Navy.

He noted that today, India has emerged as the first responding nation in the entire Indian Ocean region. In recent months, our navy has saved thousands of lives and secured national and international cargo worth millions of dollars, enhancing global trust in India.
